vSpring, 2007Election of officers at annual meeting

vMay 3rd – participated in "Time to Gather," with Keola Beamer, R. Carlos Nakai, Chief Keoni, Suquamish Song and Dance Group.  Many SON members were able to attend the memorable evening of culture, celebration and sharing.

vJuly 25th Canoe Journey SON organized afternoon snacks provided by the community for ground crews, elders, workers, and volunteers.  More photos.
 
vAugust 17th-19th  SON participated in Chief Seattle Days which includes a memorial service at Chief Seattle's gravesite, dance contests and demonstrations, canoe races, a salmon bake, craft and food vendors.
vNovember 2nd  SON participated in the Suquamish Citizen Advisory Committee Open House

vNovember 19th  SON members took part in the community meeting on Building for Cultural Resurgence.

vDecember - Suquamish Dock Hearing  SON members attended to give support for dock approval.  It was approved in early 2008.  More info.

vDecember 28th  Climate Change-Protecting Our Place of Clear Water  SON participated in this event sponsored by the  Suquamish Environmental Stewardship Council
