vJuly
19th - 2008 Canoe Journey Community Potluck Lunch
The community potluck lunch was a great success. We
even
had some extra spaghetti to supplement later meals
thanks to your generosity. Tina Jackson, the
Suquamish Tribal Coordinator of the event thanked us
because our participation is a visible demonstration
that the larger community supports the extraordinary
cultural resurgence taking place in Suquamish and
other tribal communities.

Suquamish Citizen Advisory Committee Open House
The event was a lot of fun. SON met a lot of people
who were interested in us. Karen and Glynis did a
great job of introducing SON to people who wandered
by. We made a new story board for the event, it
shows some of our past events, tells our purpose,
and shows some of the letters of appreciation we
have received.
