RE:  November 19th Suquamish community meeting

It is an exciting time in Suquamish. The Suquamish Tribe, with the help of the Suquamish Foundation and Port Madison Enterprises, is in the middle of the Building for Cultural Resurgence Capital Campaign to raise funds for capital projects which will help in continuing efforts to better the community.

These projects include: the Suquamish Community House, Suquamish Museum and Arts Center, Marion Forsman-Boushie Early Learning Center, Suquamish Welcoming Pole, Suquamish Community Dock, Heritage Trail System (Walking trail), Suquamish Community Ball Field, and Chief Seattle's Grave Improvements.

Many of you have already reached out and assisted us in the very successful "A Time to Gather" event or have shown interest in wanting to volunteer for some of the fundraising events. We are very grateful for your help. I want to offer another opportunity for you to learn the many ways you can get involved with the campaign.

We are having a meeting on Monday, November 19th from 5:30 - 6:30 pm at Kiana's Main Lodge--a nice dinner will be served. This meeting will give you the opportunity to ask questions about the Tribe, the Foundation, and the Building for Resurgence Campaign. It will also give you an opportunity to find where you may be interested in joining in the efforts. Please feel free to join us for a meal and discussion.
