vApril 30, 2005 SON 4th Annual Potluck & Celebration
SON honored Bennie Armstrong, outgoing Suquamish Tribe chairman, for his leadership. The program included  two power point presentations: 2004 Tribal Journeys: A review of the Suquamish Tribe's journey to Chemanius, B.C. narrated by Leonard Forsman with enjoyable comments by Bennie Armstrong and 150th Anniversary of the Stevens Treaties: A brief discussion from a Tribal perspective narrated by Leonard.

vApril  Attended signing of Old Man House Park over to Suquamish Tribe at Governor's office in Olympia

vMay  Participated in letter writing campaign for the Japanese American Memorial on Bainbridge Island

vJune 30,2005  Participated in Old Man House Park deed transfer ceremony and celebration
vJuly 22–23  Helped host Tribal Canoe Journey potluck 
vAugust  Chief Seattle Days  SON had a booth 
vAugust  SON members named to the Old Man House Community Park Advisory Board
vSeptember  Supported the Grandmothers Project NW Gathering at the Lummi Nation 

vSeptember  Interviewed and filmed 92 year old tribal elder, Mildred Pratt

vSeptember  Participated in Many Paths, One Community  - a gathering held by the Suquamish UCC Church to celebrate the many traditions represented in North Kitsap

vOctober  Participated in Sharing Sacred Seasons - a gathering of people practicing spiritual traditions of Christianity, Islam, Ba'hai, Buddhism, and others.

vDecember  Nominated SON member Clarence Moriwaki for the Kitsap County Human Rights Council Wall of Fame Award which he received on December 9th

vDecember  Old Man House Park transfer was chosen for Natural Home & Garden magazine's Earth Mover Award
