vMay 21st SON 5th Annual Potluck & Celebration
Over 150 people shared the feast and festivities.   Bella Luna Pizzeria and the Suquamish Canoe Families Song and Dance group were honored. Elder, Rich Demain, master carver presented SON with a foot long traditional tribal canoe with paddles which he said represents the work we have done to strengthen the community. vJuly 30th  Inter-tribal Canoe Journey Community Potluck. SON volunteeers helped out the entire weekend.  See Canoe Journey Thank You for photos and details.. 
vAugust  Chief Seattle Days Attended Chief Sealth graveside ceremony. Seattle Mayor Greg Nichols is first Seattle mayor to attend the ceremony. He and his wife were honored along with our members Virginia Cowling and Jim Henry. Our new SON banner was used in the parade and displayed for the weekend. 
vAugust  SON's Sarah van Gelder named to the Suquamish Foundation

vOctober  Co-hosted "meet and greet" to re-elect tribal ally. Represenative Sherry Appleton, at Bella Luna

vNovember  SON members took a very active part in the elections.
