Chief Seattle Days
August 19th-21st 

"A Northwest Indian Festival", in honor of Chief Seattle. Held on the Celebration Grounds in downtown Suquamish, there is no admission charge and everyone is welcome. 

Among the festivities is a Salmon bake, Indian Art, Parade, Canoe races, Pow-Wow, Traditional Indian dancing, fireworks display, and a special memorial service to Chief Seattle. Don't miss the Princess Contest, Teen Dance and the multitude of events! 

Friday: Miss Chief Seattle Days Pageant, Canoes arrive, Teen Dance, FIREWORKS display at dusk.
Saturday: Memorial at Chief Seattle grave site, parade, canoe races, dance demonstrations by dancers from many tribes, Pow Wow competitions, Salmon Bake, FIREWORKS display at dusk.
Sunday: Fun Run, canoe races, Pow Wow continues, Salmon Bake.
